Wintellect's Blog

I don't really like the idea of creating a blog that is just filled with links to other blogs, but I'm willing to make an exception for Wintellog, from the folks at Wintellect. For those of you who don't know, Wintellect has been associated with some of .NET books available.

Their titles include Applied Microsoft .NET Framework Programming by Jeffrey Richter, which is one of the tomes of our trade. We all love it where I work, and we recommend it to other developers we have contact with.

John,

Will this book cover Debugging .net applications or application in general.

If so than that would be great.

But If not can you suggest me some books which can teach debugging application / Dump using WinDBG (in depth… Please write one if you can…Like a bible for debugging windows application/dumps). As of now I know there is “Debugging .net application” but that’s only for .net applications. Do you know some more...I am interested in learn Debugging applications on windows.

Thanks for any help,
Tan.

After paging through Richter's book (which I haven't done for a while), I don't think he really covers what you're looking for. This book is strictly a .NET programming book, and it does a very good job explaining the inner workings of the framework, but I don't think that's what you're looking for.
